Responsibilities:
Create and develop concepts for performance apparel from ideation through to retail
Deliver technical 2D sketches, material selection, and fit direction aligned with project goals
Research consumer, performance, and fashion trends to inform innovation and product direction
Lead and manage projects, developing prototypes and coordinating with internal and external partners
Provide creative direction and contribute to strategic vision for the women's performance category
Utilize testing protocols to validate concepts and integrate advanced construction or technologies
Communicate clearly via presentations and design reports to cross-functional stakeholders
Skills/Qualifications:
Minimum 8+ years of experience in performance or athletic apparel design
Proven ability to design for the consumer while balancing style and technical functionality
Strong skills in 2D sketching and garment construction
Experience in fitting, materials , and providing creative direction
Portfolio required with emphasis on athletic wear projects
Nice to have: Experience with CLO , Viscom AI , MidJourney , or similar AI rendering tools
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and ramp up quickly on active projects
