Manager Engagement Center/Scheduling Call Center

:

The Manager of Engagement Center is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Engagement Center, ensuring exceptional service delivery to patients and referring providers. This role focuses on operational excellence, team leadership, and continuous improvement across patient scheduling, registration, preauthorization, and inbound/outbound communications. The manager plays a vital role in enhancing patient access and experience while maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' degree in healthcare, business, operations management or related field with at least 3 years call center or healthcare operations management with at least 2 years in a leadership role preferred or combination of education and 5 years call center or healthcare operations management with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and CMS guidelines.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare access functions, including scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and preauthorization.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in contact center platforms, EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in an ambulatory, imaging or multispecialty care setting preferred.
  • Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies.
  • Bilingual language skills a plus.
