We're hiring a full-time pest control technician to help our customers get rid of unwanted visitors! You'll identify red flags that signal the presence of an infestation, decide on the appropriate treatment, and safely administer the appropriate tactics to eradicate pests and keep them from coming back. The ideal applicant has experience with integrated pest management, strong customer service skills, and enjoys helping people. • Record work activities and complete all paperwork after finishing services
• Wear protective equipment and follow all safety guidelines and instructions when using power spraying equipment and fumigation equipment
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding pest management
• Schedule appointments with customers by working with our in-office employees
• Combine the correct amount of chemicals to spray over the area based on the area’s measurements
• Able to work in all weather conditions
• Comfortable working in enclosed spaces such as in attics and under houses
• No previous pest control experience is required but a consistent work history is a huge plus
• Able to lift 50 pounds without assistance
• Ability to work a schedule that will vary seasonally (summer - roughly 50 hours per week; winter - roughly 40 hours per week)
• Ability to work independently
• Have a great “bedside manner” with customers and be able to interact with them in a professional, polite, and tactful manner
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to mix chemicals as dictated by the treatment
• Detail oriented
• Must pass a drug test
• Must pass a background check
• Current Texas driver's license and clean driving record

Qualifications:

• Not bothered by working outside in a variety of weather conditions
• Clean background check
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Physically fit enough to lift 50 lbs and climb into confined spaces regularly
• Able to work with different types of critters, including rodents, termites, bed bugs, and more
• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Able to pass a background check
• Basic math skills
• Communication skills
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing stairs, working at heights up to 20 feet, and going into tight spaces
