Come join the leader in supplemental education! Sylvan Learning Center of Celina, TX is looking to hire teachers/tutors for Reading, Writing, Math for all grade levels and SAT/ACT prep. Benefits of the position:

You will be trained on the all-digital Sylvan curriculum and given the tools to teach in a 3:1 setting. As a Sylvan Instructor, you will provide personalized instruction in Reading, Writing, Math, Study Skills, and SAT/ACT prep to students of all levels.

• Flexible scheduling between 4 - 20 hours per week (work as much or as little as you want)
• During school year - instructional sessions are mostly after school or early weekend mornings
• Summer schedule is standard business hours

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

As a successful Instructor, you will teach Sylvan programs, supervise, interact with and motivate students during instruction, reward students for completed assignments, evaluate and document student progress, and communicate student needs to the center manager. You will also inspire students by developing rapport with them and establishing a fun learning environment, maintaining a positive attitude and demonstrating enthusiasm for teaching and for Sylvan.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

We require current or expired teaching certificate, some college, or previous tutoring experience depending on student age and areas of focus. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits:
